Increased Gas Production Capacity from Phase 14 under Payandan’s Leadership

Under the leadership of Payandan Company, two new wells in Phase 14 of the South Pars Gas Field have been successfully brought online, adding approximately 4 million cubic meters of gas per day to the field’s total production capacity.

According to Sina Energy: the completion and commissioning operations for the two new wells in Phase 14 were successfully executed by Payandan, one of the subsidiaries of Sina Energy Holding.

With the start-up of these wells, the production capacity of rich gas from this phase has increased by about 4 million cubic meters per day.

This project, which began in August 2025, was completed on schedule under Payandan’s supervision, relying entirely on domestic expertise and technical capabilities. The wells are now fully operational and producing gas.

Touraj Dehghani, CEO of the Pars Oil and Gas Company, had earlier announced the completion of these wells, emphasizing that the increase in production capacity plays a crucial role in ensuring stable gas supply during the cold season.

The active participation of Payandan in safely and efficiently executing drilling and well-completion operations marks a significant step toward achieving the National Iranian Oil Company’s strategic goals under the 35-month South Pars development program. With the successful completion of this project, Payandan has once again demonstrated the competence of domestic experts and the capability of Iranian contractors in carrying out complex drilling operations in shared fields, contributing effectively to the maintenance and enhancement of national gas production capacity.
