According to Sina Energy, on Sunday, May 11, and during the final day of the International Oil, Gas, Refining, and Petrochemical Exhibition, the CEOs of Behran Oil and Sepahan Oil signed the MoU to jointly conduct research and studies for the development of Group III base oil production in the country.
Ali Kazemi, CEO of Behran Oil, stated on the sidelines of the signing ceremony: “In this year dedicated to investment in production, we have signed an MoU focused on research and feasibility studies to support the production and development of Group III base oil. Given the strategic importance and industrial demand for this product, we hope to see a significant reduction in imports and, in the future, even begin exporting it, ensuring domestic supply while actively participating in international markets.”
