As part of its ongoing programs during the second day of the Oil Exhibition, Sina Energy Holding organized three workshops titled “Application of Artificial Intelligence in the Oil and Gas Industry”, “Human Resources as a Strategic Partner of the Organization”, and “Artificial Intelligence in HSE”. These sessions were held at the Sina Energy booth and were met with enthusiastic participation from students and exhibition visitors.
Acording to Sina Energy, In the workshop “Application of Artificial Intelligence in the Oil and Gas Industry”, presented by Rahmat Soodeh Fariman, a professor at the Technical Faculty of the University of Tehran, the transformative role of artificial intelligence in enhancing performance, boosting efficiency, and improving safety within the oil and gas sector was assessed.
This session explored the nature and functions of AI in data interpretation, critical thinking, and organizational decision-making. It emphasized that AI can be leveraged to improve productivity, enhance safety, reduce costs, and promote sustainable development in operational and executive segments of the organization.
In the workshop “Human Resources as a Strategic Partner of the Organization”, presented by Seyed Reza Mirpour, the discussion focused on the evolving role of human resources in traditional versus strategically-driven organizations. It was underscored that in organizations where HR is regarded as a strategic partner, the HR function aligns with organizational goals, contributes to decision-making, and leads innovation and value creation through a proactive approach.
The final session of the day was the workshop “Artificial Intelligence in HSE”, which addressed the practical applications of this emerging technology in the areas of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE).
