Construction of Industrial Water and Wastewater Treatment Plant: A Step Toward Environmental Initiatives


A memorandum of understanding (MOU) for the construction of an industrial water and wastewater treatment plant was signed between Doodeh Fam Industrial Company and Absan Energy of the Middle East.

According to Sina Energy, the agreement was made with the objective of designing, supplying, constructing, installing, and operating the treatment plant under an EPCC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning) contract. The signing ceremony took place at the Doodeh Fam Industrial Company factory, with the presence of Masoud Nouripour, Head of the Environmental Protection Department of Dezful County, Amir Hossein Bagheri, CEO of Doodeh Fam Industrial Company, and the CEO of Absan Energy of the Middle East.

Amir Hossein Bagheri, CEO of Doodeh Fam Industrial Company, stated during the ceremony: “The industrial water and wastewater treatment plant project, defined under the EPCC contract, is a significant step toward improving environmental conditions and advancing towards a greener industry.”

He further emphasized the long-term plans of Sina Energy Group and the Mostazafan Foundation in promoting sustainable development and environmental preservation alongside economic growth. Bagheri said: “Doodeh Fam Company has always strived to align with these policies, and this project is a prime example of our commitment to social and environmental responsibilities.”

In the continuation of the ceremony, Masoud Nouripour, Head of the Environmental Protection Department of Dezful County, expressed appreciation for the environmental initiative taken by Doodeh Fam Industrial Company. He stated: “We hope that, alongside environmental protection and adherence to environmental standards, we will witness an acceleration in the implementation of such projects across various industries.”

The CEO of Absan Energy also expressed his satisfaction with the collaboration with Doodeh Fam Industrial Company. He announced that the required investment for the project is approximately €3.3 million, adding: “With the implementation of this environmental project, we will achieve full compliance with industrial water and wastewater treatment processes in line with environmental standards.”
